The history of the locality

The commune of Țipala, located 35 km from the city of Chișinău, the capital of the Republic of Moldova, consists of three localities – Țipala, Bățăți, Budăi, and owns an estate of 4,186 ha of land. The commune of Țipala is situated in a picturesque region of plains and small hills suitable for agricultural crops. According to the 2014 census, it has 1,200 households with a population of approximately 4,300 inhabitants. The village of Țipala has been documented since the year 1595, according to some archival documents. In 1872, the parishioners built the stone church dedicated to the Patron Saints Michael and Gabriel, where since 1985, Protoiereus Teodor Cebotari has been serving as the parish priest.

The first attestation

This year, the village of Țipala was mentioned in documents for the first time. Over time, the locality has experienced constant development, becoming an important community in the Ialoveni district. Rich in traditions and history, Țipala has maintained a close connection with its past, as reflected in the cultural and social life of the locality.

1872

The construction of the church in the village

The Moldovan Orthodox Church 'Saints Archangels Michael and Gabriel' in the village of Țipala is a monument of great spiritual and cultural importance for the local community. Built during a time when Orthodox faith played an essential role in people's lives, the church became a symbol of unity and tradition.

1985

Construction of Putna Monastery

Established in 1985 and becoming fully operational again on March 1, 1987, the „Ghiocel” Nursery-Kindergarten in Țipala provides high-quality education to children aged between 2 and 7 years. With a daily program of 10.5 hours, the institution plays an essential role in the early development of children, having a tradition of almost four decades in shaping new generations.

2017

The folkloric ensemble "Jasmine"

Traditions, customs, traditional attire, and folklore are invaluable treasures that define a people, making them unique, steadfast, and immortal. Starting from this idea and the desire to connect generations, on January 24, 2017, the first rehearsal of the folklore ensemble 'Jasmine' took place.
